Show SUGAR HOUSE B. P. W. CLUB NAMES NOMINATING COMMITTEE i "One of the most interesting1 meetings of the year," declared members of the Sugar House Business and Professional Women's Wom-en's club when making comments about the meeting held Monday, at 115 South State street. An interesting in-teresting program on health and proper and nutrious diets for 'he business women, as well as the family, were ably discussed by, Miss Lena Besendorfer and Miss Evelyn Kidneigh. The new Veneral Disease Clinic which was recently opened, was visited by the members, and Miss Ada Burt, discussed the need for such a clinic and especially one located near the center of the city, with diagnosis, tests and treatment available for those unable un-able to pay for such service. A nominating committee, consisting con-sisting of Mrs. Erma Erskine, Mrs. June McDonnel and Mrs. Irene Conniff, was elected. Names of selected candidates for office will be presented to the club, at their April meeting at which time officers of-ficers for the ensuring year will be elected. |
