Show WAR LABOR BOARD The Ninth Regional War Labor Board announced this week that the exemption from wage stabilization stabi-lization regulations granted to employers of eight or less was still in effect, with the exception of employers in some industries. After September 1, employers of 8 or less are not required to ob-tain ob-tain approval for wage adjustments adjust-ments from the War Labor Board unless they are a party to a master mast-er or similar agreement covering their employees, (2) in any given year they have made wage or salary adjustmente affecting 8 specific employees, (3) they are in industries listed above in areas shown where the exemptions has. been rescinded in order to effectuate effec-tuate the wage stabilization policies pol-icies of the War Labor Board. Exemptions are subject to with, drawal f,rorri other industries upon a clear showing of the existence of unstabilizing and inflationary wage practices. The Ninth Regional War Labor Board warned Wholesalers and Jobbers in the States of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana and New Mexico, that an employ-f employ-f er may not award sales prizes to individual employees or groups of employees in large numbers or greater amounts than those award ed in previous years, even where such prizes may be furnished by companies whose products the employer handles, unless he secures se-cures the prior approval of the Board.
