Show Lions Club Hear Federal Agent Special Agent Jay C. Newman, in charge of the Salt Lake City office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, told members of the Sugar House Lion's club of the change in F. B. I. work due to the war. Espionage, sabotage and subversive agents have brought a new line of work to the depar ment, he said, and racketeers bootleggers and big time "bosses" less in the law violations. The changes have brought about a change in study by the men in the department and have created an entire new field for policing. |
