Show Society A gala spring party has beertj planned for the annual spring luncheon lun-cheon of the Women's Fellowship Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. The affair will be held at Andy's 3350 Highland Drive. Edith Guard is in charge of the program and has arranged a lovely surprise for the occasion. A brief installation ceremony will be held for newly elected officers of-ficers of the Women's Fellowship. The new officers include: Lucy Powell, president; Arlene Matti-son, Matti-son, vice president; LaVon Haodt, recording secretary; Jean Cooper, corresponding secretary; Irene Haddon, treasurer; Bee Bercovitz, devotional chairman; Ruth Kluck, hospitality chairman; Helen Hamilton, Ham-ilton, membership chairman; Mar-cia Mar-cia Vickery and Robbie Bird, program pro-gram chairmen; Ann Sturgeon, key woman; Mildred Meyer, House 'chairman; Grace Elliott, friendly service chairman; Marilyn White, finance and stewardship; Gail Keidler, publicity and public relations; rela-tions; Jean Miller, nom. chairman; and circle leaders are Ruth Lie-boner, Lie-boner, Ruth Kerr, Marion Sweeney, Emilty Hall and Lois Jones. Ruth Thompson is general chairman chair-man of the festivities and Ruth Kluck is in charge of the luncheon and table arrangements. Dr. E. Keith Lignell, 1189 Iris Ln., is the new president of the Salt Lake District Dental Society. So-ciety. He was installed at a meeting last week to succeed Dr. LeGrande R. Curtis. The installation, a special feature fea-ture of the society's annual business bus-iness meeting, were conducted at the Aviation Club. |
