Show LAP0INT Mrs. Mable Jenkins DUP Party Has Christmas Theme The Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Boyd Winn. They were entertained by Christmas carols on records. Presents were exchanged and a plate lunch served ser-ved to Mrs. Mae Sprouse, Mrs. Thelma Winn, Mrs. Barbara Ny-berg, Ny-berg, Mrs. Elizabeth Nielson, Mrs. Lillie Bigelow, Mrs. Ora Swain, Mrs. Pearl Woolley, Mrs. Mable Jenkins, Mrs. Fern Nyberg, Mrs. Ardith Huber and Mrs. Pearl Perry Per-ry of Crow Creek. The hostesses were Mrs. Helen Winn, Mrs. Lillie Bigelow, Mrs. Mae Sprouse and Mrs. Thelma Winn. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Long and children, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bigelow were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nile Bigelow and son of Vernal, Sunday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins's children gathered home for Christ-1 mas dinner and holidays. Home were Mr. and Mrs. Junior Stubbs and son, Brent, of Sterling, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Preece, daughter, daugh-ter, Linda Fay; son, Dennis, Larry Dean and his fiance, of Craig, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Workman Work-man and daughter, Janet Nancy Jane, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins and daughter, Alyce, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hor-rocks Hor-rocks and family, Lapoint, and Jack Jenkins, of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen went to Salt Lake City to I spend Christmas with their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe, and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry and children, of Dragerton, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bigelow and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Perry, of Crow Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson went to Salt Lake City last Saturday Satur-day morning to get their son, sam, who is attending the Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant. They also visited their daughter, Diane, and her husband and their son, Chip. Miss Lela Miller went to Salt Lake City last Saturday to visit her sister, Phyllis Miller, and do her Christmas shopping. Doyle Huber is home trom Ugden where he is attending Weber College, Col-lege, to spend the Christmas holidays holi-days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer (Dutch) Huber and family. Art Taylor and Vera Bigelow have a phone in their homes. Aylce Jenkins and Darvis Ras-mussen Ras-mussen came hame last Friday evening from Provo, where they are attending the BYU, to spend the Christmas holidays. Jerry Harrison went to Logan Saturday morning to get his son, Dale, who is attending the USAC. |
