Show Carolers Visit Myton Homes Mutual Improvement members gathered at the Myton Ward chapel chap-el Tuesday to bring Xmas carols to all the homes in Myton. Two truck loads of happy young people peo-ple drove to every home singing carols to bring the Christmas spirit spir-it to the hearts of all. At the close of the evening they returned to the chapel where tempting hot food had been prepared for the crowd to bring warmth to the child carolers. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas left Thursday on a trip to Areata Calif where they will spend the Xmas holidays with their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Farrell Purcell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Max Robinson came from Denver, Colo. last week for a holiday visit at the home of Mr. Robinson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. They were accompanied by Mrs. Earl Ramsey, Ram-sey, of Jamestown, Kansas, who joined them at Denver, to come to Myton to visit her brother and sister-in-law, the Homer Robinsons. Robin-sons. Miss Faye Robinson, who is attending at-tending the U. of U. in Salt Lake City, arrived home Friday for a Xmas visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson and their guests from Denver Colo, and Jamestown, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wesley Jenson and daughters, Linda Carol and Judy left Saturday morning for Salt Lake City where they enjoyed en-joyed Xmas dinner at the home of Jenson's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley. They were joined by J. W. Jenson of Myton, who is visiting his daughter, daugh-ter, and by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haskell and son and Ralph Jenson Jen-son who came Redonda Beach, Calif, to join the family party. Mr. and Mrs.' Keith Peterson and small son, who have been residing at Harver, Montana, returned re-turned to Myton last week to again make their home here. Miss Darlene Smith returned home last week from Salt Lake City, where she has been employed em-ployed and has decided to spend the winter with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith. Miss Josephine Hunt was a Christmas weekend guest at the home of Mrs. Nora Mathews in Roosevelt. The employees of the Myton Pump Station of Rangely, Salt Lake Pipeline enjoyed a Christmas dinner and party Thursday at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt. The children and adults alike declared de-clared it a very pleasant event. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb entertained enter-tained Friday evening at a Christmas Christ-mas Eve dinner at their ranch home. Ther guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. John Wogec, of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Miss Margo Linck and Chuck Denver. Miss Alice, A. M. Todd and Chuck Denver were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck on Christmas day. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs James Dal-gleish Dal-gleish were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne and Mrs. Del Combs and son Gary, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson were hosts at a Christmas dinner with their guest list including Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mr. and Mrs. Max Robinson, of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Earl Ras-sey, Ras-sey, of Jamestown, Kansas, and Miss Fayle Robinson, of Salt Lake City. Dinner guests at the Earl Fowler Fow-ler home on Xmas day were Ray-ma Ray-ma Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Larsen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lucky Madsen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Fowler and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Taylor of Salt Lake City. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lort during the Christmas weekend were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gaylor. The family of Mr. and Mrs. David Dav-id Tanner gathered for Christmas dinner at the Tanner home. Present Pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Tanner and children, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Boren and son, of Vernal, Ver-nal, Miss Virginia Jenkins of Roosevelt Roos-evelt and the David Tanner family. fam-ily. Xmas dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Lena Lisonbee were Mr. and Mrs. Max Peterson and children, chil-dren, Merrill Lisonbee, Doyle Lisonbee Lis-onbee and Miss Carma Jean Hanson, Han-son, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn peterson came from Springville to spend the Christmas holidays with Mr. Peterson's family, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Peterson, and with relatives in Roosevelt. Mrs. Elbert Chandler has been confined to the Roosevelt Hospital since Dec. 18th, but at this writing writ-ing is greatly improved and hopes to return home this week to convalesce con-valesce from a severe case of pneumonia. |
