Show Ward Reunion Is Set For Saturday Ward officials and the Relief Society are preparing for the annual ward reunion and Relief Society bazaar, which will be held Saturday evening, March 24. This yearly affair is usually held March 17, the anniversary of the organization of the L.D. S. Relief Society, but was postponed post-poned because of conflicting events. On Tuesday, March 13. over 20 members of the Relief Society Soci-ety met at the ward hall to quilt and make other articles for the bazaar. Ladies from the Altamont Al-tamont section prepared and served the noontime lunch. Mrs. Lynn Farnsworth was in charge of the luncheon committee. com-mittee. Mrs. Pete Wall has charge of Relief Society work meetings. B.Y.U". students, home for the brief vacation before spring quarter registration began were Wanda Sadler, Jean Mecham, Deane Case and Peggy Ann' Case. Perry Young, an employee of Sears, Roebuck in Salt Lake, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young. Parker and Theil Gomm, U. S.A.C. students and members of the R.O.T.C., were home for the week-end. With Parker was his fiancee, Miss Dorene At-wood, At-wood, of Spanish Fork, another student attending the A. C. Mr. and Mrs. Regnal Garff, of Salt Lake, and Buford Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, of Fairview, were guests Friday at the Floyd Case home. |
