Show i Ellen Bracken Party Recognizes Anniversary Of Relief Society The annual Relief Society party was held in the chapel Saturday evening, March 17, for the married people of the ward. Various interesting games and the following program was presented: Vocal solo, Ercil Johnson; readings, Mrs. Wilbur Parrish and Mrs. Elton Kettle; vocal duet, Mrs. Erna Stolla and Mrs. Verda Rasmussen. The following follow-ing couples demonstrated the waltz quadrille, under the direction direc-tion of Squire Mangum: Mr. and I Mrs. Mangum, Mr. and Mrs. Eicon White, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Wiscombe and Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken. Old-time dancing was enjoyed en-joyed and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wiscombe received the honor for the most unique hats worn during the evening, made of green paper. Ice cream and pie was served. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMullin and family attended a farewell party at Mtn. Home on Mar. 9, given for Mrs. McMullin's nephew, ne-phew, who was going into mili-j mili-j tary service. I Sanford Butcher, son of Mr. i and Mrs. Jesse Butcher enjoyed a short furlough here last week. Sanford is stationed in Kentucky. Ken-tucky. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brisbin and family have moved from the Raymond Elmer home, where they have been living during the past winter, to their own home. Mrs. Rhoada Turner, of Salt Lake City, is visiting at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Brisbin. |
