Show Teachers Honored At Easter Tea By Boarding School WHITEROCKS The Uintah Boarding School girls that attend at-tend Alterra junior and senior high were hostesses at a lovely Easter tea Thursday afternoon, March 15 from 1 to 3 o'clock, honoring their classmates, the 7th and 8th grade girls, and their teachers, Mrs. Paul Murphy Mur-phy and. Mrs. Parley Rawllngs. The living room of the girls dormitory, with its Easter decorations, dec-orations, attractively arranged tea table covered with Easter motif cloth, bunnies, and baskets bas-kets of candy Easter eggs, was an ideal setting for an afternoon tea and dancing. The girls took their classmates class-mates and teachers to visit each of the school classrooms, their 'dining room, kitchen, and dormitory dorm-itory rooms. Several of the girls said, "We would like to live here." Mrs. Cochran, the Boarding Board-ing School girls' adviser said, "We would like you to come spend the night on a week-end with our girls any time." Refreshments of individual Easter-d ecorated cakes. Ice cream, candy eggs, punch, or coffee on Easter motif plates were served by Mrs. Cochran, adviser, Mrs. Young and Miss Patterson, matrons, to the following fol-lowing guests: Mrs. Paul Murphy, Mrs. Parley Par-ley Rawllngs, Alterra girls, 42 in number. Miss Margaret Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Laura Wopsock, Mrs. Roy Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mace, Mrs. William Avery, Av-ery, Mrs. Ethel Grant, Mrs. Viola Vi-ola Grant, Miss Violet Eagle-bear Eagle-bear and Mrs. Katherine Betts. Guests expressed their pleasure plea-sure of the afternoon's hospitality hospital-ity to the girls and their adviser advis-er and matrons as the bus arrived ar-rived at three o'clock, and interrupted in-terrupted a most enjoyable afternoon af-ternoon of visiting, dancing1, and tea, to take them back to Alterra. Al-terra. Roy Adams, principal of the Uintah Boarding and Day school, and his corps of teachers and employees are to be congratulated con-gratulated on the very fine training and opportunities which I are being offered the girls and boys of the Uintah and Ouray reservation.
