Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd visited friends in Mt. Emmons one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday with Mrs. Bracken's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival. Mrs. Clarence Jon"8 was hostess host-ess at a quilting at her home Thursday afternoon. Enjoying the occasion were Edith Gentry, Stella Ames, Celia Jones, Violet Gentry and Mrs. Dale Pace, of Ogden. Sunday visitors at the William Wil-liam Fausett home were Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell and children, chil-dren, of Vernal, Revona Campbell, Camp-bell, and Louise Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. James Lemon and children visited Mr. and Mjrs. Oscar Nelson, at Upalco, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Garret Stone visited in I Myton, Saturday. ' Mrs. Clayton Webb and little son were overnight guests, Mon-!day, Mon-!day, of her parents, Mr. and iMrs. James Lloyd, i Mrs. Celia Jones entertained Sunday at a family dinner for Mrs. Dale Pace, of Ogr!en, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones and children. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wrbb, or Myton announce the birth of a daughter, Nov. 7, at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. Ben is son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Webb, of loka. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Lowry left Monday for a visit in Salt Lake. Ward Zobell, of Provo, spent the weekend here with his son, James, and family, in order to help them with the house they are building. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Day and family, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Mr and Mrs. Wilford Bastian and son visited Thursday with Mr- and Mrs. Ned Gines and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Maurice Benson, who has worked in Davenport, la., for the past year, is visiting1 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. Maurice is enroute to California. Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Michie have moved to Tabiona for the winter. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Angus, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merrell, Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Merrell, of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and family. Roy and Alven Timothy, of Jensen, visited Friday with the Reed Lemons and Joshua Timothys. Tim-othys. . Mr. and Mrs. One Cook and son, Edgar, of Bluebell, visited in loka Wednesday evening. Louis Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Labrum, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, visited Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon J. Clark, with their sons Dean and Max. and daughter, Margene. of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday with Mr and Mrs. John Angus. The Clarks were returning from New York City where they had gone to meet their son', Dean, recently returned to the United States after filling a SO-month Brazilian Brazil-ian mission for the LDS church. |
