Show Lions Qtub Host Al oint Get-Together The Roosevelt Lions club was host Thursday night, Nov. 10, to District Governor and Mrs. Del Sessions and 28 Randlett and Duchesne Lions and their wives, according to Hank Swain, Lions club president. Mr. Sessions stopped in Roosevelt Roos-evelt while making his annual tour. The joint meeting' of the three clubs was called to make it possible for Mr. Sessions to meet all Duchesne county Lions during his brief visit. It was ladies' -night, and about 20 ladies from Roosevelt accompanied ac-companied their husbands to the banquet. The Randlett Lior.s came en masse, 10 couples altogether; alto-gether; and four couples traveled travel-ed over from Duchesne, includ-President includ-President and Mrs. Reed Timothy. Tim-othy. It being ladies' night, little business was discussed. Instead, the night was spent helping Mr. ' and Mrs. Sessions and other visitors vis-itors enjoy themselves. ! The program consisted of songs by Carol Kelsey, local ' vocalist, and trombone solos by Jay Pond, band director at Roosevelt Roos-evelt high school. |
