C. after spending the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and small daughter spent New Year's in Salt Lake City with their daughter, Mrs. Glen Broderick. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Atkins, of Roosevelt, visited Monday with the E. C. Costons. Mrs. Jesse Hullinger taught at Alterra a week ago Tuesday, substituting for Lee L a r s e n, who was unable to get to school because of the heavy snow. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bingham Bing-ham and Jim Fisher, of Vernal, visited Monday in Alterra. Russel Todd was the main speaker at Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton returned Sunday from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken received word Friday of the arrival ar-rival of a baby boy, born Dec. 28, to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Campbell, Camp-bell, of lone, Calif. Mrs. Camp bell is the former Merle Bracken. Brack-en. A. W. Seeley has returned to Salt Lake City, after spending spend-ing a week at home. Arvin Bellon motored to Salt Lake City last week, and because be-cause of the heavy snow, his return was delayed by a day. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston spent Sunday afternoon with their daughter, Mrs. L a R u e Pickup, who is ill. Floyd Workman and Albin Anderson, of Vernal, worked Sunday at Alterra high school, assisting in replacing a broken water line. They were dinner guests of Mr. arid Mrs. Geo. Bracken. Because of extreme cold weather and snow, Relief Society So-ciety was not held on Jan. 35. Stake Sunday School and Priesthood convention was held Sunday afternoon at Roosevelt, with Ballard well represented. Mr. and Mrs. James Butcher and small son are now living in the Owen house, just south of the Ballard church. (Held from last week) . Ann Patterson, o f Nampa, spent a few days in Ballard during the holidays. The Pattersons Pat-tersons moved to Idaho last fall.
