Show LEONARD GUY TAYLOR . MYTON (Special) Leonard Guy Taylor, 66, passed away at his home Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 a.m. after a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 23, 1887 at Frisco, Beaver County, a son of John and Mary Jane Black-ner Black-ner Taylor. He received his early education in the Frisco schools and in 1911 went to Colorado, where he met and married Katie Dickerson, from whom he was later divorced. He came to Myton in 1926 and on March 16, 1928 he married mar-ried Jennie Herriny Morrill. He engaged in farming and stock raising until failing health forced him to retire. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Jes-us Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are his widow, three sons, Leonard, Kenneth and Allen, all of Myton; seven daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Clay-burn, Clay-burn, of Bridgeland; Mrs. JoAnn Summarell, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Guyla Rae Felter, Duchesne; Mrs. Donna Jean Thompson, Lu-Rene Lu-Rene Taylor, Jenene Taylor and Glenda Taylor, all of Myton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Owena Thompson, of American Fork; and by his first marriage, the following children: Frank Taylor, Tay-lor, New York City; R. L. Tay- lor, Bellingham, Wash.; Mary ! Jane Taylor, Washington; Mrs. Alice Jobe, Denver, Colo.; one brother, Kim Taylor, Beaver, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Vance, Ogden; and 14 grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Myton LDS ward chapel under the direction di-rection of Bishop ,Glen Gilbert Interment will be in the Myton City Cemetery, with the Olpin Mortuary in charge. CHARLES H. WOODS MYTON (Special) Charles H. Woods, 29, 126 Edgemont St. died Saturday, Jan. 16th at a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness. He was born at Myton, March 26, 1924, a son of Charles Harris and Maude M. Vaughn Woods. He lived in Myton during his early youth, attending the Myton My-ton schools. He is a veteran of World War II. He was married to Ileen Jensen in Salt Lake City, Sept. 6, 1947. He is survived by his widow, 1 daughter, Patrica and his mother, all of Salt Lake City; 2 brothers, William Woods, Berlin, Germany; Robert F. Woods, Ros-well, Ros-well, New Mexico; 3 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Olvera, New York City; Mrs. Audrey Fahrenbruch, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Mrs. Ardeth Mathews, Salt Lake. Funeral arrangements are pending. RHEA B. LARSEN Funeral services were being held today in the Carbonville ward chapel by Bishop Ted Wycherly for a former' Roosevelt Roose-velt resident, Miss Rhea B. Lar-sen, Lar-sen, 20, who' died at a hospital in Price of a heart ailment. She was born in Roosevelt May 2, 1933, a daughter of Clyde L.. and Edith Pearl Baker Larsen. A graduate of North Emery High School at Huntington, she had been employed in the Walgreen Wal-green Drug Store as a clerk. She is survived by her parents, par-ents, four brothers, Louis, Phillip Phil-lip Harvey, Lamont B and Jimmy Jim-my Lyn Larsen, Carbonville, Carbon ' County, grandfather, John P. Baker, Salt Lake City. |
