Show Barbara Ellomll Becomes Mrs. Eient 6. Schoies Joined as bride and groom at a lovely home ceremony last Saturday night were Miss Barbara Bar-bara Morrill and Kent C. Schoies, with Bishop R. V. Larson, Lar-son, of the Roosevelt LDS ward performing the ceremony, which took place at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. (Dick) Schoies, of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill, of Tridell, and was given in marriage by her father. Members Mem-bers of the immediate family and two friends, Miss Inez Houtz and Miss Margie Robb, witnessed the ceremony, background back-ground for which was a large picture window banked with pink and white carnations and chrysanthemums. For her wedding the lovely brunette bride chose a floor length creation of Chantilly lace over net and satin. The bodice was enhanced with a roll collar and tiny satin covered cov-ered buttons at the front and back. It was designed with a full skirt and a peplum of lace and net which encircled the V-shaped waistline. Her fingertip finger-tip veil of bride's illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Mrs. Shirley Huber, who wore a pink taffeta frock, accented with a white carnation corsage. Best man for the occasion was Rae i Schoies, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Master Terry Schoies. Mother of the bride was attired at-tired in an afternoon dress of beige linen, while the groom's mother wore a navy chiffon. Following the ceremony the beautiful pink and white wedding wed-ding cake, topped with a miniature min-iature bride and groom, was cut and served to the bridal group. The newlyweds will leave Saturday for San Diego, Calif., where the groom will continue to serve as a GM2 with the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Sperry. Mr. Schoies is a graduate grad-uate of the Roosevelt High School and his new bride a graduate of Alterra High School. At the time of her marriage she was employed at the local J. C. Penney Co. , For her going away outfit the bride will wear a two-piece rose knit suit with white angora trim. |
