Show Ioka Missionary i Galled To Serve In Brazil Elder Arnold' Webb, "member of the Ioka ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, will be honored at a farewell party in the Ioka ward chapel tonight, Thursday, at 8 p.m., prior to his departure for Brazil where he will labor as a missionary mis-sionary for the next 2Vz years. Elder Webb entered the mission mis-sion home Jan. 6 and completed his week of instruction on the 13th. He will leave Salt Lake City Saturday at 5:30 for New York and will sail for. the South American country on Jan. 28 aboard the - SS Argentina Six other missionaries from Salt Lake will leave at 4he same time for the' Brazilian mission. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Ed-mund Webb, Arnold is a grad-uate grad-uate from Union High School and LDS seminary, class of '51. He has long been active in his church, serving in the various Aaronic priesthood quorums, assistant as-sistant ward clerk for 1 year, assistant scoutmaster and in M Men work. , Elder Webb and his companions compan-ions will go direct to Soa Paulo, mission headquarters for the church in Brazil. |
