Show LEOTA By Hazel Wardle Two Wards Enjoy Randlett Play The play, "The Exodus," given giv-en Saturday by the Randlett ward, was well attended by both the Leota and Randlett wards. It was excellent and enjoyed by all. Dennis Jensen, who has been ill, is much better and will soon return to school. M.I.A. PROGRAM The program, given in connection con-nection with the play sponsored by the MIA was a piano' trio, by the Misses Shirley and Pauline Pau-line Pickup and Janet Brough; two accordian selections, by Robert Bath, of Vernal; and a piano selection, by Melissa Anderson. An-derson. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Stoddard are the parents of a new baby boy, born Jan 11 in the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. Mrs. Lee Wardle spent last week visiting in Jensen with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gilroy. The Leota Relief Society was well represented Wednesday at the home of Betty Rae Jensen. Mrs. LaRue Nixon and Mrs. Allred, from the stake, gave a lesson on making lamp shades. Mrs. Kutn seane ana ennaren and Mrs. Alice Searle visited in Roosevelt, Tuesday, with Mrs. Gene Daniels. Mrs. Daniels in a laughter of Alice Searle. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jenks I are the parents of a baby boy, born Jan. 11 in the Holy Cross Hospital. Mrs. Jenks was Mary Shavanaugh before her mar- rlMr and Mrs. Don Kolb were visitors in Ft. Duchesne and Roosevelt, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Wardle and Peggy Ann were dinner guests, Friday, at the Lewis Littleton home, where an enjoyable en-joyable evening was spent. |
