Also a guest was another daughter, Mrs. Leon Le-on Hemingway, and children, of Provo. The Hemingways are moving to Alterra and will occupy oc-cupy the residence where the George Stinnett family lived. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam visited Saturday in Lapoint with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle. Mr. Hartle is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Zane Asay visited vis-ited relatives Sunday in Price. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Booth and daughter, of Logan, and Mrs. Mary E. Hamaker, of Provo, Pro-vo, visited here over the weekend. week-end. Mrs. Francis Bowan, Mrs. Norma Bowan, Mrs. Reva Hall, Mrs. Delma Long, Mrs. Audrey Taylor and Mrs. Bob Phillips took their children to Ballard, Sunday, to take part in the Primary conference. John Houston, of Provo, is making some improvements on the Geo. Houston home. The Relief Society held its annual party Saturday, with a program and a luncheon providing pro-viding relaxation. The P. E. Russons went to Salt Lake Sunday, where Mrs. Russon consulted her physician. They visited in Lehi with Mr. Russpn's mother before returning return-ing home. Kenneth Long is spending1 the week in Logan with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Long, who spent the weekend here with the W. Long family, and the Charlie Bigelows, of Lapoint. Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks Hor-rocks attended a wedding reception re-ception Friday night at Vernal, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Merrill. Mrs. Merrill, the niece of Bishop Horrocks, is a daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray White. Mrs Nellie Bolton and Mrs. W Long visited Wednesday in Lapoint with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle. j r Mrs. Carl Pope and Mrs. G. Seymour, of Glendale, Calif., are visiting relatives here. They were called here because of the illness of their father, Fred Hartle, of Lapoint. Mrs. Zella Hall, of Salt Lake, is visiting her son, Carl, and family. Alton Johnson and family called on friends here last week. Mr. Johnson is teaching school in Wyoming. |
