Show Church Receives Gifts On Sunday Special speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday at the LDS ward chapel were Ray E. Dillman of Roosevelt, and his son, Miles Dill-man Dill-man of Provo. Two nice gifts were presented to the Myton ward coming com-ing from a former Myton resident, resi-dent, who was a member of this ward. The gifts were sent by Mrs. Ida Gardner, who now resides in Provo and were delivered through Mrs. Emery Nielson. A picture of President David O. McKay was presented to the ward, while a beautiful lace table cloth was a gift to the Relief Society. Special music was a trio by Mrs. Earl Gingell, Miss Joyce Gingell and Mrs. Russell Gingell. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Payne, of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Rvwatpr nf Salt Lake Citv. were weekend visitors at the home of their sister, Sarah Bywater. OPEN HOUSE ON MONDAY Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd entertained enter-tained at open house Monday afternoon. af-ternoon. A delicious dinner and a jolly time was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, Miss Joan Funk, Mrs. Merlin Reynolds, Howard How-ard Funk, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock, Bab-cock, Mrs. Ethel Baril, Mrs. Lou Milner, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. H. K. Palmer, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Myra Philipps and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Day. Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Calvert and family were guests Saturday and Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvert's uncle, Lee Cooper. RELATIVES VISIT A large crowd of friends and relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson on Memorial Day. A pot-luck lunch was served to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Reay of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gagon and baby of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Thompson and son, Gary, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans and 2 children, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird and family, all of Arcadia; Mr. and Mrs. Silas Ross of Castlegate; Mrs. Don Mecharn and son of Bluebell; Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Hacking and son of Lapoint; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sheldon and 3 daughters of Vernal, Ver-nal, Mrs. Lydia Nielson and daugh-i daugh-i ter, Bonnie of Myton, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Summers and 2 daughters daugh-ters and 3 grandchildren, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, This is an annual event, when the family members "get-to-gether" on Memorial Day. Mr. and ' Mrs. Joe Zorko and family arrived Saturday from Ely, Nevada for a short visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Ur-esk, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. |
