Show Lynn Poofsen Will Mmil Lions Club tat Year The new Lions Club president" for the ensuing year that will begin be-gin July 1st, is Lynn Poulsen, manager of Safeway Stores., Inc., in Roosevelt. He was elected to the position last Thursday at the regular semi-monthly meeting of the club, which was held at the Frontier Grill Cafe-Conducting Cafe-Conducting the meeting was Marion . Bowman, current president, presi-dent, who as a past president will remain a member of the board of directors during the next year. I Others chosen to assist Mr. Poul-san Poul-san were Dr. Donald Mantyla, Clifford E. Drollinger and Ken-reth Ken-reth Morgan as first, second and third vice-presidents, respectively. The secretary will be Ted Olpin; Lion tamer, Dr. Paul Stringham; tail-twister, Jay Fitzgerald and directors di-rectors selected are Dwain Buchanan Bu-chanan and Paul Murphy. Holdover Hold-over directors are Dr. R. V. Larson Lar-son and George Hacking. According to Mr. Bowman, the installation of officers will take place at the first meeting of the club in July. Several members of the local organization are leaving this week for Cedar City where they will attend the state Lions convention. |
