Show NIMBLE FINGERS We met at the home of Carolyn Caro-lyn Shephard Monday, May 30 for our first 4-H meeting of the year and we were served refreshments. We decided to keep the name which we were known by last year, which is "Nimble Fingers." The club officers are the following: follow-ing: Pam Birchell, president; Nor-een Nor-een Young, vice-president; Rosemary Rose-mary Shields, secretary-treasurer; Diane Winterton and Jacqueline Luke, song leaders; Marie Peterson, Peter-son, reporter; Carolyn Shepherd and Dorothy Jean Marchant, recreation rec-reation leaders; Judy Ann Pitt and Myrle Birtcher, program committee. commit-tee. Our club leader is Dorene Gomm and our junior leader is Janet Shepherd. We decided to take cooking and second year home improvement. We decided to have all of our club meetings on Fridays at 1:00 at the home of our club leader. Saturday, we are all planning to attend the meeting at the LDS stake house, which is for 4-H Club officers. We are to bring a sack lunch. Marie Peterson, Reporter h-h-h-h HOMEMAKERS The Roosevelt Homemakers held their meeting at the home of Ann Murphy, Friday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by the president, Ann Murphy- Laura Leavitt led some songs and the pledges were led by Joan Zimmerman and Linda Schmiett. Pam Harmston read the minutes, after which Joan Zimmerman was elected vice-president. The members present were: Joan Zimmerman, Pam Harmston, Marilyn Winterton, Ann Murphy, Linda Schmiett and Laura Leavitt. Mrs. Winterton assisted the girls. Light refreshments were served and the meeting adjourned. Linda Schmiett, Reporter h-h-h-h BUSY STITCHERS The Busy Stitchers 4-H Club held their first meeting Tuesday afternoon at the home of their leader, Miss Carol Memmot. Co-leader Co-leader is Miss Nancy Rockwood. Officers were elected as follows: fol-lows: president, Kaye Labrum; vice-president, Elva Broderick; secretary-treasurer, Mary Ellen Blaine; reporter, Jackie Neison; song leader, Janice Burgener; recreation rec-reation leader, Helen Robbins. The club decided to take third year sewing as its project, h-h-h-h MERRY MISSES The Merry Misses 4-H Club held their second meeting at the home of Diane Curry on Wednesday, May 25. There we made soups. All members of the club were present and refreshments were served. Margaret Hacking, Reporter h-h-h-h SNAPPY SNlFFfcKS MYTON The second 4-H Club meeting was held May 17, 4:30 p.m., at the home of Mary Ellen Giles, club reporter. Projects were further discussed and it was decided to start cutting cut-ting out at our next 4-H meeting. Choosing the right material and colors for ourselves was also discussed. dis-cussed.
