Show Stella Underwood Union Church Has Two, Services The meetings held at Gusher Union church on Monday and Tuesday nights last week by Rev. Wm. G. Trow, of Elmo, Kansas, were well attended. He was accompanied here by his wife and two children. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Davis spent three days last week visiting in Ogden with Mr. Davis' mother, moth-er, Mrs. Anna Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Arnold received re-ceived word last week from their son, Billie, that he and Ar-len Ar-len Jensen had been shipped to Japan on April 16. They are serving' in the Navy. Hyrum and Ivan Domgaard ! were in Myton Friday on a busi-! busi-! ness trip. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips, of Sandy, spent the week-end with Mrs. Phillip's mother, Mrs. Eva Rushton. Mrs. Claude Nebeker was an overnight visitor in Price ihursj. day of last week, Mrs. JoAnn Tolboe, of Myton, My-ton, visited with her grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sem-ken, Sem-ken, Friday. Lester Schwobe made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake City on Wednesday of last week, returning return-ing Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Semken visited in Myton Tuesday. Mrs. Ellen Dean, of Independence, Indepen-dence, visited at the Alex Du-vall Du-vall home Tuesday. Mrs. Lucy Duvall has received a letter from her son, Sgt. Nel-don Nel-don Duvall, who is stationed in Alaska. He stated it won't be long until he will be home to see them. Lamar Jacobs, of .Price, arrived ar-rived Sunday afternoon to visit his daughter, Shirley K. Jacobs. Mrs. Lola Chrlstensen. school lunch supervisor, from Vernal, called at the Lucy Duvall home Wednesday. Mrs. Duvall was formerly a cook at the Fort Duchesne Du-chesne school. |
