He received re-ceived the injury Wednesday, when he slipped from his trucK while unloading freight for Joe Young in Boneta. . Morris Monson made a trip to Salt Lake last week to get Mrs. IVfonson, who had spent several days with Mrs. Ross Monson, ot Bluebell, while Ross submitted to a major operation. On their way home, Morris and his wite visited in Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman. the Monson's two boys stayed in Bluebell with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Smith have moved to Layton. where Mr. Smith has employment. Mrs. Max Clark is visiting in Pocatello with her sister and brother-hlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cook. She is expected home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Clegg, of Salt Lake, visited during the week with Mrs. Clegg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles. About 30 people from Mt. Emmons Em-mons attended the pageant presented pre-sented in Mountain Home, Sunday Sun-day evening, April 22, by the temple group from Salt Lake. Mrs. Thomas McDonald, nee LaVada Powell, is visiting her grandmother in Midvale. Her husband met her there for a short furlough from Army duties. du-ties. Mrs. Gerald Day and two children, chil-dren, of Salt Lake, visited several sev-eral days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young. Bryant Gomm is enjoying a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben C. Gomm. Wm. H. Case, postmaster at Duchesne, visited Saturday with his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Case. Ray Rogers, employed at Hill Air Base, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young went to Salt Lake Thursday. Mr. Young returned home the same day, while Mrs. Young proceeded on to Manti to join Mr. and Mrs. June Young on a motor trip to Los Angeles and a visit with relatives there. After Af-ter a week in Los Angeles, they will go to San Francisco, where Mrs. June Young will remain for an extended visit with her parents. When Mrs. Young and June return to Utah, June will enter the Veterans hospital for treatment of a World War II injury. in-jury. Miss Dorothy McKendrick, of Los Angeles, and Peggy Ann Case, B.Y.U. students, spent the week-end at the Case home. Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers entertained the following guests at dinner Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Milan Rogers, of Upalco; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lisonbee and children, chil-dren, of Bluebell, and Mr. ann Mrs. Nitl Murray and son, of Myton. |
