Show LeetoiLvBennett Fern Houston Mixes With Horse Kenneth Long met with an accident ac-cident Wednesday while trying to load a horse in a truck to take to the mountains, where he is working work-ing for the Forest Service. The horse refused to toe led in so Kenneth tried to ride it in. The horse reared over backwards and cought Ken's foot dn the stirrup. Some of the family were near and headed (the horse but not before it had drug Ken through the canal four times. Lorain caught it and loosened his foot. Kenneth suffered suf-fered cuts on his face and Lorain was kicked on his leg. Betty Hackford, twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hackford invited nine girls of her age to help her with the party given by her mother on the lawn. They had a weiner roast and other dainty refreshments, and played games under the electric lights festooned for that purpose. Mrs. Richard Coltharp is home after having spent several days in the Roosevelt hospital. Miss Diam Austin of Vesta, Calif, has been visiting with her cousins, John and Mervin Bolton the past week. She brought the news of their cousins sad accident, in which an elderly man run over little Bobbin Voightlander killing her and breaking one arm and both legs of her four year old rother Bobbie. Mr. Voightlander is a former teacher at the Brigham Indian school. |
