Mr. and .Mrs. Glen Mohlman and Linda visited in Salt Lake City Friday on business. Carl and Grant, who stayed home for the holidays, attended to the business of the store in their parents' absence. ab-sence. Mrs. Jeanne Reynolds who recently re-cently flew to South Carolina to visit her grandmother, Mrs. George Smith, is reported to be in the hospitaly in Honey Path following follow-ing a stroke suffered at the home of Mrs. Smith. Relatives report her condition to be serious. P-TA Sets Xmas Program Dec. 5 On Dec. 5 at 8:00 p.m the P-TA will hold its Christmas program. Talent from each community will contribute its bit to the jollity by presenting a part on the program. pro-gram. Come and enjoy the friendly friend-ly atmosphere with other parents and neighbors who attend P-TA. Mr. and Mrs. Rondo S. Harmon and family journeyed to Provo to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harmon, to spend the Thanksgiving holidays. While in Provo their car broke down and Mr. Harmon was unable to return Friday to attend the Harvest Har-vest Ball. Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Kolb, Mike and Gracie visited briefly Sunday evening at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Bearden and Mrs. Dorothy Dor-othy Farnsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Farnsworth visited in Altamont with his brother broth-er and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lin Farnsworth, and in Mtn. Home with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Farnsworth Farns-worth during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lin Farnsworth spent Thanksgiving in Vernal with their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Corbin and boys. Miss Lulu Farnsworth of Salt Lake City enjoyed the family dinner with them. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen were entertained as guests on Thanksgiving Thanks-giving by Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Iorg and family. Mrs. Hansen had spent the previous week with her sister in Odgen, Mrs. Heber Timothy. Tim-othy. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Mohlman and family, Mrs. Laura Mohlman and Mrs. Vera Hansen visited in Altamont on the Thanksgiving weekend. Mrs. LaVerda Powell entertain ed a crowd of ladies at a Stanley party Saturday night with games and refreshments. Mrs. Vera Holder served dinner to her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fieldstead and her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Dee L. Holder of Salt Lake City on Thanksgiving Day. During the day Mrs. Holder received re-ceived a phone call from her daughter and grandchildren in Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Betty McLea. Sunday guests at the Holder home were Mr. and Mrs. Ober-hansly Ober-hansly and family of Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny' Lambert and family were in Bluebell on Thanksgiving Day at the home of her sister, Mrs. Owen Goodrich Good-rich and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young and family had dinner at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith of Arcadia Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Buchanan had Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Barbie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden White of Ballard. In the evening 'they attended the dance in Mtn. Home. HANSENS HAVE VISITORS TSgt. and Mrs. Ketteridge and three children, who have been in Turkey for two years, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen on their way to San Francisco the early part of November. On their way back to their next base in Illinois they visited and enjoyed Thanksgiving with the Hansens. During the last couple of weeks Mr. and Mrs. Hansen have been hosts to pheasant hunters and weekend guests. Ken Hansen and Roy Hansen of Salt Lake City, brothers of Mr. Hansen, and Mick Circuit and Lynn Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen were the hunters. Mr. Circuit returned the weekend following pheasant season with his famiLy to spend the weekend visiting. On November 23 the Hansens held a second family dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Barton Bennion, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bennion and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Benion present to honor the Kitteridges. Mrs. Allen Case and two boys spent their Thanksgiving vacation in Woodland, Utah, visiting her parents. SCHOOL NOTES A basketball game with Rangely will be played in the High School gym at Altamont on Friday night, Dec. 1. This as the first of many home games . scheduled, so let's support the team. |
