Show Starts Jn. 5th .... Car License Dates Revised In Duchesne And Uintah Counties An announcement made lasi week by County Assessor G. B. Workman concerning license plate sales in Duchesne County f has been revised somewhat, with the first day they will becomi available being Monday, Jan. 5. The State Tax Commission, tnrough a branch office established estab-lished in Vernal, will dispense the plates rather than the county coun-ty assessor. According to Mr. Workman, the revised schedule as it pertains per-tains to people in Duchesne County makes plates available at the City Building in Roosevelt Roose-velt Monday, Jan. 5 from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m., and each Monday thereafter. Tuesday, Jan 6, is the first day for plates at the assessor's office in . Duchesne, with each Tuesday set for the county seats. Residents of Uintah County will be interested to know that they will be able to secure se-cure plates in Roosevelt on the same days plates are being be-ing issued for Duchesne County. Coun-ty. According to Charles A. Hatch, Uintah County assessor, as-sessor, tax clearances will be available at Crumbo Motor Co. and from Mrs. Homer P. Edwards at Howard Reynolds-Inc.. Reynolds-Inc.. beginning Jan. 2. and each day thereafter. Also, a deputy assessor. Blaine Morrill, Mor-rill, will be available to give assistance when and where needed. All types of plates will be available and Assessor Workman Work-man will be present at Roosevelt and Duchesne to issue tax releases re-leases to vehicle owners. However, if n car is to be attached to real property, the assessor is the only person able to take care of this little detail. Clearances will be available beginning Jan. 2, 1953 at the above Roosevelt establishments, estab-lishments, or at the Duchesrc or Uintah County courthouses. |
