Show iiiontweS-iiicnarcti By Betlie Mower Ward Gold, Green Ball Theme Was Silver Bells The Ward Gold and Green Ball was held Saturday night, December 20. The music was furnished by Reese Timothy and Mrs. Lillian " Wilkerson. The theme song "Silver Bells," was sung by Beth and Hazel Brown both before and after the floor show, which consisted of many dances put on by the Bea Hive olass, Scouts, Mia-Maidy anci Explorers, the Junior Gleaners and Junior M-Men. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown, dance directors, were honored when the girls in the ail-girls dance presented them with a corsage and boutonniere. Among the visitors that attended at-tended from Roosevelt Stake MIA were Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and Mr. and Mrs. Devon Dev-on Fenn. Marilyn Mower, Arlene Pa-rv and Fred Brown are home for the Christmas holidays. They all attend Utah State Agricultural College. Stephen Adams, of Pleasant Grove, and Joe Parry, of Orem, visited relatives in Montwel and Monarch Friday and Saturday. Miss Maurine Allred, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, spent the weekend with Ruth Hamblin. She attended the Gold and Green Ball. Ted Nelson, student at the BYU, is home for the Christmas Christ-mas holidays. Lyn Miller has been visiting friends and relatives here before reporting to his ship the last of the month. Lyn has been attending at-tending school in Baltimore, Md. for the past four months. Mr. and Mrs. James Hamblin and Mr. and Mrs. Riv Brown met at the church Wednesday with County Agent Louis Jensen and Miss Mary Lou Reichart. county home demonstration agent, to discuss problems and ways they could help in this vicinity. |
