Show M0IIT17ELL By Bettie Mower Young Married Couple Honored A wedding dance and reception recep-tion were held Friday night at the Montwel LDS chapel for Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Powell, who were married July 17th in a lawn ceremony at Gusher. Mrs. j Powell is the former Dorothy Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold, of Gusher. Myrtle Collins, of Ballard, was in charge of the program. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to a large crowd. Reese Timothy furnished fur-nished the music. Mrs. Nellie Gleaton and her two daughters, of Provo, spent Monday and Tuesday of this week with Mr. and Mrs. Vic Brown and family.' Mr. and Mrs. Jess Hamblin and family, of Salt Lake City, are visiting relatives here. ATTEND REUNION Mr. and Mrs. James Hamblin and infant daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Marley Hamblin and daughters, Mary Dale and Vivian, Viv-ian, attended the Hunt reunion held at Lava Hot Springs, near Preston, Idaho, this week. They also visited in Lewiston, Idaho, where they picked up Arvin Hullinger and Kay Hamblin, who returned home with them. Arvin and Kay have been working work-ing in Idaho since they graduated grad-uated from Union High School this spring. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stone and their nephew, Jerry Stone, of Parker, Arizona, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Christensen and their two sons, James and Blaine, of Richfield, Utah, visit-. ed this week with Mr. and Mrs. J George Hunt and family. Mrs. Christensen is Dean Hunt's sister. sis-ter. While here they accompan-Mr. accompan-Mr. and Mrs. George Hunt on a fishing trip up to Chain Lakes. Lynn Taylor visited at home last weekend on a 72-hour leave from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Art Gardner, of Las Vegas, Nevada, visited friends and relatives here this week. Stake Primary officers visited Primary here on Wednesday. 1 Loene Powell and Arlene Par- ry. who are employed at the Moon Lake Lodge, visited at home Friday and Saturday. Wednesday evening the girls practiced Softball. |
