Mr. and Mrs. Theron Robb, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ellingford of Salt Lake visited home folks over the weekend. The EHingfords came for their baby who had been with his grandparents this week. The Don Simmons family and Mrs. Elsie Simmons visited with relatives in Vernal Thursday. Principal Norwood Hardy was in Salt Lake to a principals' convention con-vention Thursday . and Friday. The Elbert Smith family did business in Vernal and Roosevelt Friday. Mr. and" Mrs. Blayne Morrill took their son to Roosevelt Friday, where! he had his tonsils removed. Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Christen-, sen spent from Saturday until Wednesday in Clearfield and Salt Lake visiting their children, Mrs. Betty Rasmussen, Dona KlUlan an Christensen and families. The Dee' Christensen family of Salt Lake, visited the Marinus Christensen family over the weekend. week-end. The Virgil Robb family visited in Roosevelt Saturday while Mr Robb was having work done on his truck and tractor. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoops had their little son blessed Sunday and gave him the name of Stan LeRoy. The baby's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nyberg of Lapoint. and an uncle, Neldon Nyberg of Roosevelt were present to see him blessed. Ranger Bill Worf and family are visiting Mrs. Wort's pa-rents in Montana this week. Mrs. Dora Griffin left Saturday for Los Angeles, Calif, to be with her father, Mr. Iorg, who suffered a heart attack Friday. . Mrs. Edith Oberhansly and family fam-ily and the Elbert Smith and Francis Fran-cis Crozier families visited at the Don Simmons' home Sunday. The Lorin Pike family were dinner guests at the Leland Moosman Moos-man home Sunday. The Bee Hive' girls, Mia Maids and Explorers of the ward and their leaders, Ednal Simmons, Eldon El-don And'erton and families enjoyed an Easter outing at the head of Deep Creek Saturday. Norwood Hardy took his son, Lewis, to Vernal Saturday, where he had dental work done. The MIA Sunday evening program pro-gram speakers were Gwenda Oberhansly, Ob-erhansly, Barbara Moosman, Eilene Robb. Two accordian solos were played by Lorna Oberhansly with Betty at the piano. Mrs. Ednal Simmons is taking the cooking job, filling the place left vacant by Mrs. Nora Christensen. Christen-sen. 65th BIRTHDAY The children of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hoops and their families surprised sur-prised Mrs. Hoops on her 65th birthday Monday. They enjoyed a family get-to-gether. |
