Show Receives Citation Wings, denoting their service in the Ground Observers corps as civilian plane spotters were awarded award-ed to 9 persons Friday evening at a meeting. The response' to this civilian defense plan has been excellent ex-cellent as more watchers are signing sign-ing up each day. ENTERTAINS GUESTS Miss Alice Todd entertained at a dessert luncheon at her home Wednesday evening with her guest list including Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Wesley Jenson, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. A. C. Tolboe and Mrs. Ted Thomas, Sr. Bridge was the evening's diversion with high score prize awarded to Mrs. Linck. Mrs. George Funk and Mrs. LaVor La-Vor Dennis returned Thursday from a trip to Mt. Pleasant tak-l ing Joni Funk, Bill Peake, Glenna Dart and Louise Gentry to resume their studies at Wasatch Academy. They then went to Salt Lake City, where they visited friends and relatives and Mrs. Dennis received : medical attention before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck spent a few days in Salt Lake City, returning re-turning home Wednesday evening. They were accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Charles Denver, who came from Denver for the Easter vacation. Mr. Denver joined her in Myton Thursday and will spend a week here at the Linck home and in Ft. Duchesne with his parents, Mr. and' Mrs. Elmer Denver, Jr. ENTERTAIN FRIDAY Mr. and Mrs Rex Lamb entertained enter-tained Friday' evening, complimentary complimen-tary to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Denver who are here for their spring vacation. Members of the family who we're present were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Denver, Jr. of Ft. Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Treu of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Mortensen. Games were enjoyed and delicious refreshment re-freshment were served at the close of the evning. Mrs. Lena Lisonbee and daughter, daugh-ter, Marilyn, moved to Roosevelt last week, where they will make their home. Mrs. Lisonbee recently sold her home to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred. The Allred family who lived on a farm west of town are now settled in their new home, moving into the house Saturday and Sunday Their many friends welcome them to their new residence. resi-dence. ATTEND PARTY " Mrs. Milton Lott, president of District No. 9, American Legion Auxiliary, and Mrs. W. R. Harris were guests of Basin Unit at Roosevelt Roos-evelt Tuesday evening at a past presidents' party.
