Show Ethel Beebe Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred spent the weekend of March 24 in Rangely with Mr. and Mrs. Udell Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Bob B-srrett. Mrs. Minnie Maxfield returned March 24 from a trip to Hood RiveT, Oregon Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Burke of Vernal and Mrs. Lyall Pitt and daughters, Judy, Mary and Eva, of Roosevelt were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe March 25. Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks and family of Garfield were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence' Lawr-ence' Weeks, Thursday night. They returned home Friday taking their son, Mike, with them after a visit with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Richards and family of Artesia. Colorado, were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen Mar. 26. Rex Allred of Rangely, Colorado spftot the weekend of March 24 at his home here. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe made a trip to Jensen March 28 to deliver an Aberdeen Angus bull to Lynne Dudley. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Burke. Mrs. Burke' and Mrs. Beebe are sisters. Florence Weeks of Salt Lake City was home over the weekend of March 24. Her sister Ruby returned re-turned home with her after a week's stay in the city. Mr. Verlyn Stewart and parents of Mt. Home transacted business at the Mary Carroll home March 24. Robert Murdock, county agent, from Roosevelt was in Altonah March 29. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Girth, their son, Eddy, and two small daughters daugh-ters of Salt Lake City were here on business and also visited with friends March 28. The Girths are former residents of Altonah. A large crowd of young people from Altonah attended the Junior Prom at Altamont Friday night. Alfonzo Mad'sen of Duchesne transacted business in Altonah on March 30. He also called at the home of Gilbert Beebe. Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Searle and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Jensen of Ogden spent the Easter weekend with Mrs. Sarle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert BeebQ. Mr. and Mrs. Colin Nielsen and family left for their home in Hack-beny, Hack-beny, Louisiana, after a 10-day visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred of Altonah and Mrs. Lydia Nielsen of Duchesne, and other relatives in the Basin. |
