Show LAPOEEJT Mrs. Mabel Jenkins Mother Dies In Salt Lake City Mrs. Velma Perry and Rulon Rasmussen received word from Merrill Rasmussen that their mother, moth-er, Sarah Rasmussen, had died in Salt Lake following a long illness. Merrill and other children have been with their mother. The school recently had a half-holiday half-holiday and cleaned all the school grounds and burned the weeds. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen and Sarah Norton were recent Roosevelt visitors, where Mrs. Norton saw her doctor for a chetk-up. Mr. and Mrs. Merve Horrocks and children from Vernal were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks and family recently. Mrs. Delia Burton and daughter, Mrs. Jennis Neilson attended the funeral services of Mrs. Amanda Abplanalp Tuesday in Roosevelt. Mrs. Annie Burgess and daughter, daugh-ter, Julia Ann from Swan Valley, Idaho, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlen Turner. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and, Mrs. Charley Burton and Mrs. Delia Burton were MF. and Mrs. Earl Warren from Glen-wood Glen-wood Springs, Colo Mr. and Mrs. Bill Warren from Meeker, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dodds, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan. Hall and Lois, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Burton and children from Vernal. Mrs. Donna Hartle and daughter, daugh-ter, Kenna D. and Mrs. Lillie Bige-low Bige-low weTe Roosevelt visitors Monday. Mon-day. Jenkins from Provo spent Easter with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank :v uns, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hansen from Provo spent the weekend with Mrs. Hansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Harrison and family. Darris Rasmussen from Provo spent the weekend with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Thumer Rasmussen. Ras-mussen. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Huber are parents of a baby son, born Mar. 31 at Uintah County' Hospital in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Cochran and sons from Powell, Wyoming are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell and family fam-ily and a brither, Clifford Bige-low, Bige-low, who is home on a furlough. Joyce Labrum spent the weekend week-end visiting in Salt Lake. The Lark group of the Lapoint Primary, under the direction of their teacher, Elizabeth Harrison, held a party in the ward chapel Wednesday evening. |
