District t - r':r - 1 1 V ' - "V a . 4,' ' ' ' I I ' 4 ; ' , J ' ' '-"V f Heber Grant Iyins, of American Ameri-can Fork has filed his candidacy for the office of District Attorney Attor-ney in the Fourth Judicial District.. Dis-trict.. Mr. Ivins is a native of Utah County, having attended Lincoln High School and Brigham Young University before his employment em-ployment in the FBI, 1940 1941. He served in the Air Force during World War II as an Intelligence In-telligence investigator. After his discharge, Mr. Ivins attended the University of Utah Law School, graduating in 1949. Since that time he has been practicing' lav in Salt Lake and Utah counties. He is presently assistant dis-; dis-; trict attorney under George S. Ballif, who is not a candidate for reelection after having serv-' serv-' ed ten years as district attorney. Mr. Ivins is presently residing in American Fork, where he is president of the local Junior Chsmber of Commerce, and is I also a reserve officer in the Air I Force. He is married and has : three daughters. While living in' Salt Lake City, Mr. Ivins was president ! of the Young Democrats of Salt iLake County. j |
