Show ieetcn-Sennett Mrs. Fern Houston Orcihers Buy 200-Acre Farr.i The AU.-ed brothers Dee, Jack and Glenn, have purchased what is known as the Herr property, pro-perty, from Lester Maxwell, of Salt Lake City. There wen-three wen-three tracts of land consisting of 200 acres. Glenn is now living liv-ing in one of the houses. Mrs. Eliza Wood?, 82. of My-ton, My-ton, suffered a sad accident re cently when she fell and broke her hip. She was taken to Salt Lake City for treatment. She was well known here, having spent much time at the home of Mrs. Wilford Whitlock, and was known to most of us as "Ma" Woods. Tom Burton was iniured recently re-cently while working jit the Lee-ton Lee-ton No. 1 well. While loading a truck with pipes, one fell ano I mashed his foot, breaking two toes. He was treated at tht Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coltharp, Jr., of Dugway, are here on a combined business and pleasure trip. They are staying at the home of Mrs. Frances Bowen. Paul Anson, a civil engineer, came with them to do some surveying sur-veying for Mr. Coltharp. The baseball game Saturday between Bennett and Myton proved very interesting. The score was 5 to 6, but it took 1.1 innings for Myton to win the deciding point. Theron Murphy, a state, auditor,, aud-itor,, and his father, Mark Murphy, Mur-phy, visited remently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Has-lem. Has-lem. The Murphys used to live I here. Mark Murphy is 92 years old. Ercel Johnson has purchased the Delbert Ho.rrocks house that was formerly owned by Mrs. R. T. Bonnin He has moved it to his land south and east on the. Whiterocks highway. Mr. John-1 son has lived for several years1 on the John Herr farm, and wa? forced to move on account of the recent sale of the land. I |
