By Mrs. Zilpha Wall Relief Society Has Work Day Relief Society members brought a pot luck lunch Tuesday Tues-day and had a busy work day: They made a quilt for Nellie Harris and did the piece work on another. Diane Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor and Shirley and Pauline Pickup, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Grant G. Pickup, visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Le- Roy Taylor, in Vernal. Loretta Coston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Coston, of Vernal, is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Pickup. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen, of Vernal, visited at the horr.2 of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jensen. Blake Peay and Blake, Jr., visited in Provo, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young are now residing in Randlet,,. Ervin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Young. The Snowball reunion was held recently at Washington Memorial Park in Parley's Canyon. Can-yon. Among those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brough, Mr. and Mrs. George Brough and family, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brough and family, Gilbert Brough, Reah Pickup, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pickup, and Loy Harris, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harris, Har-ris, of Randlett. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mann and family, of Los Angeles, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Young. Charles (Bud) Jarman, nephew ne-phew of Franklin L. Jarman, is visiting at the Jarman home. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall and daughter, Vida, Mrs. LaRue Pickup and Miss Barbara Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown, visited the Leota Ward. Miss Vida Wall and Miss Barbara Brown gave their seminary speeches. The Ouray baseball team beat the Randlett Braves 4 to 3 in a Sunday afternoon game. Mrs. Edgar Bert Stoddard gave birth to' an 8V4 lb. baby girl Friday at 6 p. m. The baby's name will be Anita Gay. |
