Show j)oka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Berlha Angus Becomes Eagle Scout Sunday Mark Percival, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival, of Ioka, was one of eight Boy Scouts, members of Troop No. 41 of Provo, who were advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout at a . special court of honor held last Sunday evening in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry . and daughter, La Verne, of My-ton, My-ton, Raymond and Barbara Blanchard, Blan-chard, of Salt Lake, spent Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay were Altonah visitors Wednesday. Clarence Jones came from Denver last week. It is reported he will move his family there soon. Miss Colleen Sherwood spent the past week in Levan with relatives and friends. Mrs. Milo Campbell went to Salt Lake City Sunday to attend at-tend the Allen reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Faggoli, of Salt Lake City, are vishing Mrs. Faggoli's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon and family, of Vernal, visited Mr. and Mrs. James B. Lemon and Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon Sunday. Mrs. Delroy Angus and Floyd Angus and son, of Lapoint, visited vis-ited Sunday afternoon with Mrs. John Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Eskelson, of Ogden, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Benson and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. Cline Campbell went to Logan Lo-gan Saturday to represent the Ioka 4-H boys at leadership week. Clifford Drollinger and Howard How-ard Lloyd were speakers at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting at the Moffat Ward Sunday. They were accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Otto Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. Garn Lloyd. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Robi-son Robi-son announce the birth of a baby daughter, born Friday, June 27, at the Roosevelt Hospital. Hos-pital. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ar-den Ar-den Drollinger were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Ostler at Hancock Cove, Sunday. Sun-day. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer were Ike Hancock and two friends, of Salt Lake City, Saturday afternoon, and Mr. and Mrs. Ruland Hancock. Mr. and Mrs. Groutte, of Salt Lake City, for the weekend. Russel Robison, Roene Lemon Lem-on and LeRae Drollinger were speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday at Randlett. Sacrament meeting' speakers were Van Winterton, Janice An-derton, An-derton, Mary Murphy and Hazel Ha-zel Fredrickson, of Roosevelt. Special music was by a quartet quar-tet from Ballard Ward composed of Larry Larson, Lynn White. Allen Gines, Norman Angus, accompanied ac-companied by .Patsy Gines. Other Oth-er visitors were Ned Gines, of Ballard, and Mrs. Van Winter-ton Winter-ton and daughter, of Roosevelt. Arden Drollinger is nursing a very badly sprained ankle. |
