Show Commander and Mrs. Stanley Orser and children, of San Diego, Di-ego, California, left Tuesday after af-ter visiting at the Orser home since the previous Thursday. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Orser and chidren, of Salt Lake City. Visiting last week with the Bellon families in Roosevelt was Mrs. Glen Miller, the former Myrth Bellon, who left Friday for Japan to join her husband, Major Miller. Les Mullins has been in town, leaving Sunday to take his race horses to' Colorado Springs and Denver. Mrs. Mui-lins Mui-lins is residing in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City visitors last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dillman and children. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nelson, Diane and Richard, accompanied by Mrs. Bert Gardner and son, Randy, spent last weekend visiting vis-iting in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Edward? left 1 ast Thursday for their home in Davis. California. They were accompanied as far as Bingham Canyon by Mrs. Edwards, Ed-wards, who remained for a visit vis-it with Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nelson. Nel-son. The Nelsons and their three children accompanied her to Roosevelt, leaving Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nelson were business callers in Salt Lake City Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Evans and children spent Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Cedar City. The Johnson brothers Don and Vere returned last Thursday Thurs-day after spending a week in Boise, Idaho, taking the state dental board examinations. Mr. and Mrs. Don Oakden, of Salt Lake City, and Glenda Rae Robinson SDent the weekend week-end at the Wilf ord Robinson home. Glenda Rae is attending the Excelcis Beauty School as a result of a scholarship won last fall. Returning last Sunday nigh; from a wonderful trip were Mr. and Mrs. Max Owen and daughters, daugh-ters, Maxine and Susan, who visited all the Southern Utah Parks and Boulder Dam. They also spent some time in Flagstaff, Flag-staff, Arizona, and . visited two nights in Lawndale, Calif, with Mrs. Owen's sister, Mrs. Gilbert Kimball and family. They re- turned home via San Francisco way gone 8 days and traveled trav-eled over 3000 miles. House guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Crittenden last week we;e Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Crittenden Critten-den and children, of Ogden. The two families enjoyed a fishing trip up the canyon. Ted Harmston, Wayne Malin, Jack Zimmerman, Axel Birch and Vean Bair took to the canyon can-yon Tuesday night main reason to work on the Harmston cabin, which is being enlarged. Understand the .payoff was a steak fry. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yack are the proud parents of a baby boy born July 1 at the Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake City. The new arrival weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz.. and reports reveal thai mother and son are doing fine, expecting to arrive home soon. Heber T. Hall is on his way to Chicago to attend the national nation-al GOP convention. Cliff Rockwood entered the St. Mark's Hospital last Friday for medical treatment. Reports are that he is feeling much better. bet-ter. His friends all wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Gignoux of San Gabriel, Calif., visited here recently with their son, Andy. Mr. Gignoux is petroleum engineer for Union Pacific. While here the Gignouxs, tha Vean Bairs and son, Glen, Dick Weiss, and Jerry Reinhert and his fiance, Carol June Van Meter of Oklahoma City, spent Sunday at the R. S. Jordan cabin in Uinta Canyon. Mr: and Mrs. Ned Bellon and sons, Biff and Phillip, enjoyed a week's vacation to Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park. Visiting four days last week with Mrs. - George Hacking and family were her sister. Mrs. W. F. Forsey and daughter, Robin, of San Francisco. Recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Ella Roberts were her two sons, Karl Roberts, and family, of Yakima, Washington, and Lorell Roberts, of Milwaukee, Milwau-kee, Wisconsin. The brothers hadn't met for eight years. They also visited at the Charles Edwards Ed-wards home in Myton and with other relatives in Salt Lake and Provo. Max Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, was a Thursday visitor at the Charles Edwards home. Charles and Vern Edwards made a trip to Salt Lake last week to visit with their mother, Mrs. Pearl Edwards, who has been ill. Leslie Herbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. : Don C. Herbert, of Myton, is expected home the 1 latter part of July or early in August. He is in the U. S. Navy serving aboard the hospital ship USS Consolation and has been in Korea since February. Glen Stubbs, manager of Christensen's Store at Ephraim, was a caller at the local store Friday. He was enroute homo after being east for his son who had been released from an LDS mission. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris returned re-turned home Wednesday of last I week from the northwest and 'California, where they vaca-I vaca-I tioned for two weeks. Remain-( Remain-( ing in California for an extended extend-ed visit were Mrs. LaRue Laris and her daughter, Lorraine, who returned home this week. Salt Lake City business visitors vis-itors last Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Murphy and daughter, Ann, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Murphy are leaving Friday for a vacation vaca-tion trip to Seattle and other northwestern points. TSgt. Bob Timothy, stationed at Camp Cook, recently spent a 15-day furlough with his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy. Timo-thy. While here, Bob and his parents motored to Rangely to visit the Kenneth Timothys and family. Don Truman left Tuesday-night Tuesday-night for Salt Lake City to be interviewed by the State Pharmacist Phar-macist Board preparatory to receiving re-ceiving his Utah license. Before coming to Roosevelt, he was employed em-ployed in Idaho, where he has a license, and was granted a special permit to practice in Utah. Lee Timothy, 20 - month - old son of Tommy Timothy, was in the Roosevelt Hospital four days last week for treatment of an infection. Michael Vorondos, former Roosevelt resident, is visiting friends here. He recently returned re-turned from Korea, where he had spent 18 months in the U. S. armed service. Taking to Vernal swimming pool this week to cool off a bit were Dr. and Mrs. Don Johnson and children. Others enjoying the cool swimming-pool waters were Mrs. Gordon Harmston and Mrs. Wm. Murdock, who took a group of the younger set over Monday. Visiting last week with Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Mortensen were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mortensen, of Huntington and Mr", and Mrs. Paul Mortensen and children, Ivan and Carol, of Ephraim.
