Show NEW BABY BOY Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Buchanan Buchan-an are the proud parents of a baby boy, born at the Roosevelt Hospital July 14. Mrs. Alden White cared for the little girl while her mother was in the hospital. Vaughn Semper has been appointed ap-pointed by the Uintah School Board to' act as custodian at the Alterra school. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Westwood and two sons, of Rangely, Colo., were visitors one day this week to ,be in the hospital for some time. at the home of Mrs Westwood's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook. Miss Marion Gardner was undergoing un-dergoing a serious foot operation opera-tion at the Shriners Hospital on Thursday morning. She expects Stephen Eldredge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge, who is in the Navy, and was home recently on a short leave, is now stationed at Seattle, Washington. His sister, Bette Eldredge is attending summer school at Seattle. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gardner Gard-ner and family, of San Bruno, Calif., have been visiting with Howard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Gardner and other relatives. rel-atives. E. C. Coston, who has been a patient at the Roosevelt Hospit al for some time, has improved and moved to his home in Mae-ser. Mae-ser. Miss Carolyn Haws, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Haws, of Vernal, was a recent visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Spen-cer Squire. Mrs. Jerry Hatch has employment employ-ment now at the Harmston cabins cab-ins in Roosevelt. Mrs. Reed Johnson and boys of Logan, and Mrs. Denton Hail and two children, of Ogden, were visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn last week. The following members of Ballard ward tried out for the Talent Program to be given during dur-ing U.B.I.C.: for vocal solos, Mrs. Carol Betts,' Miss Janice Neilson, Miss Carolyn Ross and Allen Gines; piano solo, Patsy Gines, Celia Kay Jenkins and Bee Angus; piano duets, Elaine Angus and Karen Gines. GIVES SHOWER Miss Joanne Todd and Mrs. Lynn Bracken gave a personal shower for Miss Delores Hutcheon Hutch-eon at the home of Mrs. Martha Shanks, Wednesday evening. July 15.
