Show FIRESIDE CHAT Fireside Chat was held at Bishop James Hamblin's Sunday f evening after Sacrament meeting meet-ing Dick Mower took charge of the meeting. Merlin Sullivan was the speaker. Wayne Brown returned home Saturday night from Boys' State. Bettie Mower spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of last week in Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rowley, Catherine, Ned and Allen Rowley Row-ley of Roosevelt, spent Thursday Thurs-day evening with Mr. and Mrs. Maurel Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Pierce, of Los Angeles, Calif., visited . here with relatives Sundas' through Friday. Mrs. Bell Jorgenson, of Spanish Span-ish Fork, and her daughter, Thelma Young, of Roosevelc, j and her daughters visited Mr. 1 and Mrs. James Hamblin and family last week. Cheri Nelson had the misfor- tune of cutting her foot Wed- nesday. She spent Wednesday night in the Roosevelt Hospital and nine stitches were taken. Mr. and Mrs. Art Anderton, Larry Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderton and Mr. and Mrs. Gale Anderton attended the Anderton Ander-ton reunion in Vivian Park, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry and Sandra Powell visited with friends and relatives in Pleasant Grove, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. LaRene Adams left for Pleasant Plea-sant Grove Thursday to begin work at the cannery. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parry and son, Joe Kay, of Orem, visited Wednesday and Thursday with friends and relatives. Mrs. Hannah Parry returned home Wednesday after spending spend-ing two weeks in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parry .and family. |
