Show 2 Night Rodeos I Pioneer Days Observance Set For Roosevelt, July 24 & 25 A big two-day Pioneer Day celebration is being planned in ' Roosevelt for July 24 and 25, according to George Hacking, superintendent of the Roosevelt Stake M.I.A., who is sponsoring the activity, which offers something some-thing entertaining every minute of the day for all ages. Featured both nights will be the outstanding rodeo events, which will commence with a parade at 7:00 p.m., with rodeo activity to get underway at 7 30 p.m. Bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, bareback riding, etc. with many novelty acts added will make this rodeo one of the best ever staged in this area. A miniature parade at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24th, will officially open the two-day celebration. cel-ebration. This phase of the program pro-gram is under the direction of the Roosevelt LDS Stake Primary. Pri-mary. The parade will line up at the Roosevelt LDS stake house, instead of the Elementary Elemen-tary School as was announced last week, and will proceed down Lagoon Street to Main Street, continue north to the intersection at the end of Main Street, and proceed to the Hospital Hos-pital corner and on to the park where they will disband and prize-winners will be announced. announ-ced.
