MYTON Mr. and Mrs. Or-ville Or-ville Dart, Sr., of Myton, and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willis W. Dart, of Duchesne, went to Price over the weekend to visit Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Dart. A letter received from Peggy Oldroyd (Standard employee), who' is attending Henager's Business Bus-iness College, indicates that she is really keeping busy with the crowded course she is taking, but likes it even if it means five hours' study each night. Alva Snow and sons were Salt Lake City visitors Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Memmott and Kent, accompanied by Mr. Memmott's mother, Mrs. C. A. Memmott, drove to Helper last Friday evening, where they witnessed wit-nessed a ball game. Mrs. Memmott Mem-mott had spent several weeks at her son's home visiting, and is now with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jouf-las, Jouf-las, in Helper. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Gale and family attended a Beck-strom Beck-strom reunion at Arrowhead last Sunday. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Pack last weekend week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Castleton and son, Neal, of Montpelier. Idaho. Craig Pack accompanied them to their home for a week's visit. Moving to Roosevelt from Logan ttf make their home this week were Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Lichfield and three sons. Mr. Lichfield will be the seminary instructor at the Roosevelt Jr. High School and will teach a few classes at Union High. Visitors from Price and Helper Hel-per were at the Orlando Rachele home last weekend to view the new Rachele arrival, Aldon Ray. Among them was the delighted de-lighted grandfather, Sam Rachele. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields and family returned home Monday Mon-day night after spending several wesk in Richmond, Calif. Mr.! Shields took his annual navy cruise. Returning home Sunday after spending several days in Salt Lake City were Mrs. Orvil Rudy and daughter, Martha. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Burningham in Salt Lake City, spending a day at Saltair. They saw the operetta, LaTva-viata LaTva-viata at the University Stadium Stad-ium and' enjoyed an evening at. The Homestead. Out from Layton Sunday to spend the day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Timothy, and her grandmother, Mrs. Benjamin Ben-jamin Wilson, were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bone and children, Gregg and Paul. Mrs. Peter Anderson and granddaughter, Marilyn Anderson, Ander-son, left Tuesday for California for a two-week vacation. They will visit in Walnut Creek, Ventura Ven-tura and Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Rawiings returned from Salt Lake City last Saturday evening, where they attended funeral services of Mrs. Rawling's mother. A sister, Miss Maude Hill, accompanied accom-panied them to Roosevelt and will make her home with the J. S. Rawiings. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris are spending a few days visiting in Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Peterson Peter-son and family spent last Saturday Sat-urday in Salt Lake City, combining com-bining pleasure with business. Mrs. Peterson's father, Ward Moody, of Delta, and Bill Bas-sett Bas-sett were in Roosevelt last Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Harri-son and children, Nancy and Bob. attended a Brown reunion in Salt Lake City, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Dagle and family, from Longmont, Colo., spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Pearl Swain. Mr. Dagle is Mrs. Swain's nephew. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Schmiet and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Schmiett were Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Diamond, Dia-mond, of Sandy. Mrs. Cliff Angus and sons, Kent and Douglas, and daughter, daugh-ter, Shirley Sullivan, were business bus-iness visitors in Salt Lake last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Aycock and sons, Stephen and Gordon, returned Tuesday night from a trip to Yellowstone Park, Wyoming Wy-oming and Idaho. They left last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Learning Learn-ing and daughter, Lorraine, visited vis-ited at the Axel Birch home this week enroute from Denver to Salt Lake City, where they will now make their home. Wonder why Bennie Schmiett is beaming all over? He's the proud father of a baby daughter, daugh-ter, born Monday at 1:35 p.m. at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mother and new arrival are doing fine. The little Miss weighed 6 lbs. and answers to Wendy Rae. Fond grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Ashton. Wendy Rae makes three girls for the Schmietts. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgomery Mont-gomery left Thursday, planning to join a group of twelve in Salt Lake City to spend the weekend m Las Vegas. Their children will remain in Salt Lake with Mrs. Montgomery's parents, until their parents re-1 re-1 turn Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson and daughters, Marie and Linda, Lin-da, were Ogden visitors las. weekend. While there they witnessed wit-nessed the pageant, "All Faces West." Guests at the Orrin ' Gardner home in Hayden are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Elmer and Mr. & Mrs. John Johnson, of Payson. They witnessed the Sun Dance while here. A reunion was planned for Wednesday night in Uinta Canyon Can-yon for the immediate Gardner family. Mr. and Mrs. Les Swain attended at-tended a Gardner reunion at Salem last Sunday. Visiting this week at the home of Supt. and Mrs. H. W. Gilmore in Fort Duchesne, are their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gentry Durham and children, of Antioch. Calif. Mr. Durman called in at the Roosevelt Standard, interested in the plant, as he is the editor of the daily paper, "Antioch Ledger" in Antioch, near San Francisco. Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs Tom Halen last weekend were Mrs. Halen's nephews and nieces. niec-es. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Niel sen, of Syracuse, New York; and Mr. and Mrs. Ormil Christie, of Buffalo', New York. Mrs. Halen had not seen the Cristies for 33 years. A dinner at the Frontier Grill was enjoyed Sunday, with Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch as additional addi-tional guests.
