Show Honored On Her 70th Birthday On Monday, Nov. 5, members of Mrs. Lister's family gatherei at her home to honor her 70th anniversary. A birthday dinner was served by her daughters, Mrs. George Rogers and Mrs. LaVirda Powell. Others present were Mrs. Carl Lister, Mrs. Melvin Foote, Mrs. John Richards Rich-ards and Mrs. Kenneth Carrell. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle L. Young are making an extended visit in Cedar City with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. June Young. Mrs. Alma Richman and daughter, Helen, of Provo, spent Saturday afternoon in Mt. Emmons Em-mons with her sister, Mrs. Morris Mor-ris Monsen, and with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Mary A. Case. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Gardner Goodrich, of Bluebell. Blue-bell. Mr. and Mrs. James Thacker and children, of Salt Lake were here for the pheasant season. On Sunday they brouiht their baby son to Sacrament meeting meet-ing to receive a name. The child's grandfather, LeRoy Thacker, officiated at the ritual. Others from Salt Lake who were here for the pheasant hunting hunt-ing were Louis Hansen and sons, Lee, Ray and Kenneth, Ken- neth's wife and Lynn Rasmussen. The visitors were guests durinj their stay with two other sons of Louis Hansen, Waldo and Grant, and their families. I Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lister and baby, of Salt Lake City, were guests the first of- last week of Norman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lister. Mrs. Dicy Lister has been quite ill for a week. On Thurs- Iday, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Snow took her to Roosevelt for medical med-ical treatment. Mrs. LaVirda Powell accompanied them. |
