Show To Get Awards .... 4-H Club Achievement Program Saturday The Annual 4H Club Achievement Achieve-ment Program for Duchesne County will be held Saturday, November 10, at 2 p. m. in the Roosevelt L.D.S. Church. All 4-H Club numbers, leaders, par- I ents and other interested people are invited to attend. Those who have participated in 4H Club work during the past year will be recognized for their accomplishments. accomp-lishments. An interesting program pro-gram has been arranged to help acquaint the people with the county 4-H Club program. Members completing project work will receive certificates, with fourth year members receiving re-ceiving pins. These awards are financed by the Utah Bankers Association and will be presented present-ed by Robert -Montgomery, of the Commercial Bank of Utah, Key Banker for this area. Two local club leaders will receive silver pins for five years of service, ser-vice, and one leader will receive a gold pin for 10 years of service. ser-vice. County winners in the National Nation-al Achievement Contest will receive awards in Dress Review, 4-H Achievement, Canning, Clothing Home Improvement, Record, and Safety. This year, for the first time in our history, one of our members mem-bers was chosen as state winner in the National Contest and wins a trip to Chicago. Announcenient of this will be made at that time. Another special feature will be presentation of a registered reg-istered beef heifer to a 4-H Club boy by the Commercial Bank of Utah. Fern Shipley, associate supervisor super-visor of Utah 4-H Programs, from Logan, will be in attendance attend-ance to address the gathering and to present the special awards.
