Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beabe Snow Covers Altonah Area A blanket of snow 8-inches deep, covered this area Friday night. Wallace Chatwin, of Tabionq, visited with his sister, Mrs. Albert Al-bert Clark and family over the week end. Rex Fowler, a student at University Uni-versity of Utah, Salt Lake City, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Smith and family, of Craig, Colorado, spent the week end with their parents, Mr. ,and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Among those from Altonah who attended funeral services for Mrs. Velma Timothy on November No-vember 29, were Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Dennie Ralphs, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield, son, DeLar, and daughter, Ola; Mr. and Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy, Mrs. Jerry Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe, Mrs. Ilez Ames. Mrs. Ar-da Ar-da Ames, Mrs. Mary Carroll, Mrs Mary Powell, Mrs. Lucy Jacobson and Lynn Farnsworth. Mrs. Dewey Jessen sang a solo, "Whispering Hope," with Mrs. Lucy Jacobson accompanying. Lester Maxfield dedicated the I grave. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Ivie and daughter, of Nephi, arrived Saturday Sat-urday to visit Mrs. Ivie's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark. Ray Lambert is to report for military duty on Nov. 12. He is the son of Clyde Lambert, forest for-est ranger: Louis Jensen, of Roosevelt, ; Duchesne County agent, and Richard Olsen, of Neola, were in town Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, of Bonanza, were guests during the week of Mr. Clark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield were transacting business in Duchesne Du-chesne Wednesday. Lewis Bills, of Bingham, spent the deer hunting season in this arpa. Mr. and Mrs. Georee Carroll Car-roll took him home Monday, en-route en-route to attend funeral services ;for pn aunt. Mrs. Emma Swa-sey, Swa-sey, in. Mona. |
