Show tilt CmmcitJ Variety Club Has Hallowe'en Party A Hallowe'en theme furnished the motif for a party enjoyed by members of the Variety Club, Monday night, October 29, at the home of Mrs. Bill Reay, with Mrs. Fay Reay. Mrs. Leland Stevenson and Mrs. Morris Mon-sen Mon-sen as co-hostesses. Club members came dressed in costumes suggestive of the holiday season, and before unmasking, un-masking, each had to guess, on paper, the identity of the others. oth-ers. Other games were played and refreshments of doughnuts, cookies and apple cider were served. Present, in addition to the hostesses, were Mrs. Farrell Mohlman, Mrs. Martin Hislop, Mrs. Pete Wall, Mrs. Johnny Lambert, Mrs. Lyrad McConkie, Mrs. LaVear Timothy, Mrs. David Da-vid Gailey, Mrs. Bruce Hartman and Mrs. Oral Thacker. Mrs. Leonard Wall is in Salt Lake caring for her mother, Mrs. Simeon Atwood. Mrs. At-wood At-wood has been ill since early fall and her daughters have been taking turns caring for her. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sheldon and two children returned last week to their home in Lakeport, California, after a visit with Mrs. Sheldon's (Audrey) mother, Mrs. Lydia Nielson. Mr. Sheldon participated in the deer hunt, during their visit here. Officers of the ward Primary entertained the children at a Hallowe'en party, Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. A children's dance was arranSed for the older groups, while the yonger groups played games in another room. Veretta Gornm and Carma Jean Hansen, as fortune tellers, delighted the youngsters with tales of things to' come. Each child was given a popcorn ball and an apple. Mrs. Leslie J. Orr was in Vernal Ver-nal several days last week to care for her daughter, Mrs. Carl Allen, who has been quite ill. Leslie Ann, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nielsen, of Heber, is here for a visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Ly-dia Nielsen. |
