He will be in Duchesne next Monday, Mon-day, Nov. 12, for a meeting at the Duchesne High School at 2 p. m., where he will address the student body. At 8 p. m. that evening, he will greet adulis from the Duchesne area at the L.D.S. Stake House. The following morning ' at 9:30 he will hold a public meeting meet-ing at the American Legion Hall in Roosevelt where he invites the public to discuss legislative problems with him. At 11:30 he will address the student body at Union High School. He then goes to Vernal for an evening meeting at 8 p. m. Senator Watkins, who was elected five years ago . as the first Republican senator from Utah since the days of Reed Smoot, is a resident of Orem, and will have to face reelection in 1952. He emphasizes that his clinics are non-partisan, and invites in-vites all citizens to join in his discssions. According to J. V. McLea, Duchesne County Republican chairman, a few party leaders w'ill meet with the senator at ar: informal luncheon at noon on Tuesday. |
