Show 150 Guests At Welfare Party In the lovely outdoor living room of the Leo Hanson home, with its picturesque background of the beautiful rock garden which is one of the lovely spots in Roosevelt, the Roosevelt Ward Relief society entertained one hundred ind fifty guests Tuesday evening. A moon was hung in the trees backing the rock garden and the colored lights in the garden with the moon and spot lights making the yard a fairy land, added to the .natural beauty of the scene. After Af-ter a program consisting of vocal vo-cal solos by Miss Joy Burton of Farm Creek and the Misses Beth and Norma Call and readings by Mrs. Elaine Hullingcr, Mrs. Blanche Murphy led the group in games. At the spacious grill Mrs. Anna Larsen, Mrs. Gertrude Gert-rude Rasmussen, Mrs. Agnes Birtcher, Mrs. Helen Walker and Mrs. Dora Freston were busy preparing some of the delicious de-licious supper served. The committees in charge were Mrs. Melba Hanson, general gen-eral chairman; Mrs. Jane Page, refreshment chairman, Mrs. Erma Anderton, entertainment. After refreshments were served Paul Wilkins entertained the group with his motion pictures. Those assisting with the serving were Alta Hurley, Roda Felter, Louisa Buchanan, Lenora Bacon land Bonnie Rae Hanson and Gertrude Page. The Relief society soc-iety officers are Jane Page, president; pres-ident; Agnes Birtcher, Gertrude Rasmussen and Melba Hanson the officers. All those present voted the evening's entertainment entertain-ment one of the most enjoyable ones ever spent. Hollis Hulling-er Hulling-er represented the bishopric of the Ward while Leo Hanson as-1 sisted in the entertainment. |
