Show Producers Livestock Market News Cattle: Our run Monday consisted con-sisted mostly of the lower grades with few of the better kind selling sell-ing at steady prices. With points taken off the utility cattle a few packers seemed to be interested in this class at prices 25 to 35c higher. This was limited to a few buyers. Heavy steers that were good enough to grade com-merical com-merical sold at S12.00 to $13.00, Utility steers $9 to $10.50, with common steers down to $8. Good steers quoted $13.50 to $14; fed steers quoted higher. Most of the best heifers sold at $10.50 to $11.50 with good heifers absent. ab-sent. Quoted to $13. Medium to good heifers $8 to $10. Common heifers down to $5. Good young grass cows $10.50 to $11.50 with most of them selling at $10.50 to $11. Heavy older fat cows $9 to $10. Cutters $8 to 9. Canners $5. to $7. with low canners down to $3. Bulls steady. Good fat heavy bulls sold at $9 50 to $10. with medium to good kind at $8 to $9.50. Common kind down to $7.50. Canner bulls S6. Veal slow: Fully 50 cents lower low-er on the good kind. $1 to $1.50 lower on others. Best veal sell-ling sell-ling at $14. Medium to good $10. to $13.50. Common calved down to $5. and hard to sell. Stockcr and feeder cattle slow. Best stock steers $9 to $10. We advise holding these light unfinished cattle at home until the feeders start opening their fields and are in a position to buy them.
