| Show AURORA SCHOOL recovering from pneumonia helen mason daughter of mr and mrs philip mason is recovering from pneumonia she has been ill for several lays days and will be back to school in a short time health first miss willes the health nurse visited our school november 7 all students were weighed many blany were un der weight and some were overweight we hope to be up to our correct standard when she comes next time she is invited to our school whenever she wishes and we are glad to have her visit us parents day thursday november 8 some parents visited the aurora school in the first and second grades the visitors were mrs C C christensen mrs conrad payne mrs jane palmer mrs nettie harward and mrs maik blaik cloward in the third and fourth grades were mrs conrad payne and mrs reta sorensen Sorens cn mrs nettie harward and mrs birs reta sorensen visited the fifth and sixth the seventh and eighth grades were visited by mrs birs nettie harward both students and teachers invite the parents to attend school again the school visitor the school is the cradle of democracy it needs the interest and the cooperation of the parents and other citizens of the community for it is intended to meet their demands and approval unless the people know and share in the education of their children the choals become inefficient and cease to function as the center of activity in the community the teachers of the district feel the need of the help of the parents and invite them to share the common burden of education they feel that the parents can do this best by visiting the schools and becoming acquainted with the work of the students and of teachers together |
