| Show FEEDERS EXPECT CROWD at MEET elaborate preparations made for annual lamb feeders day at monroe monroe which is fast being recognized as one of the leading lamb feeding cen centers not only of the state but of the entire intermountain region has bas been ma making king elaborate preparations to receive r today the hundreds of people who will undoubtedly respond to the invitation of the monroe lamb feeders association to join in their second annual lamb feeders day activities plans for the event have ben brewing for two or three months and early in the week the committee in charge announced that everything was in readiness for the big celebration wednesday saw twenty choice fat lambs in coolers ready to be prepared and served to the many hundreds of people expected and it was announced that a professional decorator had been secured to arrange appio ampro displays in the windows of business houses and to otherwise adorn main street in gala attire for the occasion many influential men in the livestock business representatives of the livestock commission packer buyers and railroad men will ivill be present the new lamb feeding experiment station will be formally opened and ready for inspection 1200 lambs are being scientifically fed at this station the days program follows beginning ginning at a tour will be made to the feed pens and experiment station at 12 noon all guests will be served a roast lamb banquet at a public alic meeting will be conducted at which ich prominent ent visitors will address 1 the assembly a band concert will add life to the program at 3 monroes monroen Mon roes school children will appear in in a pet and hobby parade and at this hour a select group of fat lambs will be judged by experts A football game between the delta and monroe high school elevens will be staged at and a lance dance beginning at 8 will wind up the festivities |
