Show 20 Courses Available at B. Y. U. Leadership week Provo, Utah, Jan. 20, About twenty short courses will be available avail-able to visitors to the Eleventh Annual Leadership Week at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young Univeiiity. January 25 to 29th. These courses Include: "Recreational Leadership;" "Biological "Bi-ological Science and Health;'' "The School Tomorrow;" "Beauti- fication of the Home and Community;" Com-munity;" "Homemaking;" "Literature "Lit-erature for Children;" "Religious and Ethical Education;" "Genealogy;" "Gene-alogy;" "Farm Problems;" "Literature;" "Liter-ature;" "Science and the World Tomorrow;'; "Psychology;" "Soc- ial and Economic Trends;" "Journalism;" "Jour-nalism;" "Bee Hive Leadership;" and "Girl Scout Leadership." 'Ihe courses commence at 9:30 and run throughout the day until the Social Hour at 5:30, when all gather in the Ladies Gymnasium for the Matinee Party. From 4:30 to 6:30 on Thursday, January 28, there will be a reception by the Home Economics Department for all Leadership Week visitors. At 4:30 Tuesday, there will be a special demonstration of Portable Sound Motion Picture Equipment. The General Boards of the M. I. A. will hold their weekly meeting at the Brigham Young University on Wednesday, January 27. The annual meeting of the Utah Wasatch Was-atch Co-operative Dairy is to be held during the week; and the regional re-gional meeting of the Utah state Conference of Social Work will be held Friday, January 29. A large crowd is expected by those in charge and every effort is being made by committees to make adequate preparations for the entertainment of those whor attend. I |
